Baleswar district has stood first in terms of securing maximum number of Grade A students in the recently published Matric exam results and is second in the pass percentage scoring 93.32.
local MP RK Jena on Friday congratulated district education officer (DEO) Hrusikesh Kandi and the teachers and students and their parents for the grand feat.
Jena also had a discussion with DEO Kandi about RACP (Revised assured career progression scheme) scheme implementation for the left out UP (M E) school teachers.
The teachers’ association has alleged that the RACP for the eligible employees of non Government aided education institutions of most of the blocks was not received despite submission of proposal by the respective BEOs.
The association had drawn the attention of MP Jena, seeking his intervention and alleging that although teachers of three blocks including Sadar , Jaleswar and Baliapal, had received RACP, yet the teachers of rest nine blocks were deprived of the same.
Jena urged to address the discontentment of the teachers at the earliest.
