A joint eviction team consisting of officials from the BDA and the Commissionerate police on Thursday demolished unauthorised constructions over the 150’-0” wide Master Plan Road adjacent to Plot-256, Prachi Enclave under the Chadrasekharpur police station.
During the eviction drive, a total of three cabins, two AC sheeted houses and two polithene shed and one thachad house were demolished.
An excavator from the BDA was engaged for the eviction drive. Additional Commissioner (Enforcement) Bhabani Sankar Chayani, BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Kumar Patro, liaising Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and Chandrasekharpur police station IIC DK Mishra were present.
A platoon of gents APR force and a section lady force were also present at the site to maintain law and order.
