A joint eviction team consisting of the BDA, the BMC, the GA Department, the Bhubaneswar tehsil and the Commissionerate police on Friday demolished unauthorised constructions over the plot No-109,110 and 52 in front of the Manorama Apartment under the Sahid Nagar PS.
During the eviction drive, a barbed wire fencing and boundary wall constructed by the Manorama Estates to prevent the passage to the Government land, 100 meter boundary wall and two AC sheeted structures were demolished.
The demolition drive was conducted by Additional Commissioner-cum-Member Enforcement, Bhabani Shankar Chayani, GA Department Under Secretary Bijay Mohanty, BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patra and BDA liaisoning Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty.
