A joint eviction team consisting of the BDA and the Commissionerate Police on Monday demolished unauthorised constructions on the Government land adjoining NH-203 for construction of a high-level bridge of 0.870 km and a 1.200-km road from Garage Chhak to Sisupalgarh.
During the eviction drive, an RCC building of about 1200 sqft having four-bed rooms was demolished. The building was situated over the Government land which is also coming under the alignment of the Gangua Nala.
An excavator from the BDA and one pocline were engaged for the drive.
BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patro, liasioning Officer Subhransu Mohanty, Assistant Engineer, Division-II, R and B, Rashmi Ranjan Sahoo and lingaraj PS IIC Janardan Padhi were present during the demolition.
