Prof Ashok Kumar Mahapatra, Vice-Chancellor, SOA University, inaugurated an ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter seminar on “Limited Liability Partnership Act & RERA” on Friday.
He said, “We have to guide our students to become a good human being and teach them ethical issues and utilise our universal human values.” He emphasised on quality, skills, new innovation, holistic development and practical knowledge-based education. He also stressed on the National Education Policy (NEP), machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Guest of honour CS Sandip Kumar Kejriwal, ICSI Central Council member spoke about the various new initiatives of ICSI for the members and students of the institute. He also spoke about the services being provided by Company Secretaries in practice as well in service for the corporate sector and the society.
While CS Divesh Goyal, Company Secretary, New Delhi, spoke about the LLP Amendment Act, PK Biswal, Member (Admn), Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority, dwelt on the RERA protection available to home buyers.
Chapter chairman CS Jyotirmoy Mishra, secretary CS Bimal Prasad Pattanaik and other Managing Committee members, Company Secretaries, other professionals of Odisha attended the seminar.
