Radhamani Dei, ICDS Supervisor, Kutrukhamar Sector, Bhawanipatna block, was caught red-handed by Vigilance officers for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from Simantini Naik, Anganwadi Worker of Kurumchuan for passing of bills under the Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP) in the latter’s favour.
The rented residential house of Dei at Bhawanipatna and her house at native village in Raikia, Kandhamal district were searched. Dei was arrested and forwarded to court.
