The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organised the 2nd edition of Odisha Energy Conclave-2015 here on Tuesday.
Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Dash inaugurated the conclave in the presence ICC Odisha Chapter executive member and managing director of Gupta Power Infrastructure ltd MK Gupta, Joint Secretary of New and Renewable Energy Ministry J B Mohapatra, Gridco CMD Hemant Sharma, and VISA Steel ED Ranjan Mishra.
A special discussion on success of conventional power and renewable power and plans and proposals were discussed.
Among others, NTPC Regional ED Arvind Kumar, OHPC Finance Director Santosh Kumar Sahu, Nalco GM-BD MP Mishra and OPGC DGM Ritwik Mishra were present.
On the closing session, a seminar on ‘Challenges and Present Scenario: Power Utilities in the State’ was held. Among others, OMSPTRI chairman BC Jena, RSB Metaltech Pvt ltd Director Dr Omkar Nath MohantySEMTECH India’s Satyajit Mohapatra and Indian Energy Exchange ltd VP (Business) Rohit Bajaj participated. Special presentations were made by Guardian Education Services ltd CEO Prasenjit Kundu and National Skill Development Corporation’s Pravi Kapoor.
