The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar Chapter organised the closing ceremony of a certificate course on GST and talk on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code -2016” here on Friday to mark its golden jubilee year.
Chief guest ICAI president Amit Anand Apte inaugurated the seminar in the presence of ICAI VP Balwinder Singh, former president Manas Kumar Thakur, Chapters’ Coordination Committee chairman Niranjan Mishra, ICAI-EIRC chairman SK Bhattacharjee, Regional Council member Shiba Prasad Padhi and Bhubaneswar Chapter chairman Damodar Mishra and secretary Tapas Ranjan Swain.
On the occasion, resource persons, faculties and qualified students in the 1st batch certificate course on GST were felicitated along with some meritorious students of the Bhubaneswar Chapter for their excellent performances in debate and quiz competitions.
ICAI CPD Committee chairman P Raju Iyer deliberated on the topic. Among others, Professional Development Committee chairman Mukesh Chaubey and Students convener Ajay Kumar Samal were present.
