The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar Branch organised a seminar on “E-Assessment under Income Tax Act 1961 and SabkaVishwas - (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme 2019” at ICAI Bhawan here on Saturday.
Income Tax (Investigation), Odisha Additional Director Suresh Sivanandan graced the occasion as chief guest. CA Rajendra Kumar Das, Past Chairman, Bhubaneswar Branch of EIRC of ICAI, presided over the seminar. Branch Chairman CA Sugyan Kumar Sahoo, Chairman and Secretary CA Bisworanjan Sutar shared the dais.
While CA KK Chhaparia from Kolkata spoke on E-Assessment, CA Biswa Ranjan Pattnaik of Bhubaneswar deliberated on SabkaVishwas - (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme 2019.
The seminar was attended by 200 members from Bhubaneswar and witnessed a very knowledge intensive and interactive session.
Among others, Vice-Chairman CA Bibhu Prasad Mohapatra, Treasurer CA Ranjan Kumar Prusty, Managing Committee Members CA Janhabi Deo and CA Pradip Kumar Sahoo abd and Eastern India CA Students Association, Bhubaneswar Chairman CA Goutam Lenka were present.
