The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Bhubaneswar Branch organised a seminar on ‘Bank Branch Audit 2023’ on March 25.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar, Chander Shekhar Sharma. Session chairman CA Rajib Sekhar Sahoo, Bhubaneswar Branch and CA Dibakar Prasad Harichandan, Independent Director Canara Bank gave a detailed insight on the bank branch audit in the presence of chairman CA Pradip Kumar Sahoo, vice-chairman and chairman EICASA CA Gagan Bihari Das, secretary CA Mahendra Kumar Sahoo and treasurer CA Saswat Tripathy.
Speakers CA Lokesh Gupta from New Delhi spoke about the overall approach to bank branch audit and LFAR reporting. CA Abhay Vishnu Kamat from Mumbai highlighted IRAC norms, loans and advances and CA Sajib Sanghi from Kolkata gave an insight on the auditing in CBS environment.
The branch held felicitations to Eastern India Regional Council chairman CA Debayan Patra, vice-chairman CA Sanjib Sanghi, secretary CA Vishnu Tulsyan and treasurer CA Mayur Agrawal.
