The Jajpur Vyasanagar Autonomous College, the Odisha Commerce Association (OCA) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar Chapter jointly organised “Jajpur Commerce Conclave and Seminar On GST” at the Vyasanagar College in Jajpur Road on Sunday.
Chief guest Korei MLA Ashok Kumar Bal inaugurated the programme and praised the initiative taken by the organisers for the betterment of commerce profession of the State.
ICAI Bhubaneswar Chairman Saktidhar Singh said that the joint initiative definitely would give a new horizon to the commerce profession and Chapter PD Committee Chairman Mukesh Chaubey highlighted about the career prospects in cost and management accountancy course.
SOA University Finance Professor Dr Prafulla Kumar Swain, Shiba Prasad Padhi, College Principal Major Dr Sk Abu Taher, OCA President Dr Prabadha Hota, Dr. Arun Kumar Barik, Dr Sudhansu Sekhar Mishra, Dr Sudhansu Kumar Dash, Dr Malaya Kumar Mohanty and Bibekananda Mohanty were present. More than 150 commerce students and faculties in commerce from different Colleges of Jajpur district participated.
