BJP national general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday alleged that a senior IAS officer in the State Secretariat is acting as a poll manager of the ruling BJD. He said the party would soon lodge a complaint with the Election Commission against the officer’s ‘illegal’ action.
Demanding his immediate removal from his post for ensuring free and fair election in the State, Pradhan demanded that the Election Commission scrutinise all call records of the telephone and mobile numbers being used by the IAS officer in question since the model code of conduct was enforced to ascertain the BJP’s charges. He has been behaving like an agent of BJD, Pradhan said.
