Social food delivery portal HungryFree.com logo was unveiled at the CREDAI Property Expo 2017 at the Janata Maidan here on Saturday.
CREDAI president Binay Krishna Das launched the logo in the presence of CREDAI chairman DS Tripathy, secretary Shashi Sekhar Garabadu and president-elect Swadesh Kumar Routray.
CREDAI secretary Shashi Sekhar Garabadu assured all possible support to the initiative from the apex body of real estate developers.
Author and journalist Subhransu Panda, a part of HungryFree project said, “As we know, our State is rich in mineral resources. We are also rich as far as our agrarian economy is concerned. A social initiative by young enthusiasts from the city, HungryFree aims at serving poor and needy people with healthy and nutritious food. To carry this initiative forward the organisation has a noble idea of ensuring preservation of good food and to avoid wastage of the same.
The cities witness vast wastage of food every day. Parties, feasts, hospitality firms are wasting huge amount of food. HungryFree dreams to make that food available to those who are living a life lack of food, said HungryFree director Subrat Nayak.
