Allaying the apprehensions of students over delay in publication of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination results, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Secretary Ramasish Hajra on Tuesday said the matriculation results would be published in the third week of the current month.
However, Hajra refused to divulge the exact date on which the results would be announced. The publication of the results has been delayed due to the efforts to make them error-free, added Hajra.
Last year, the HSC examination 2018 results had been announced by the BSE on May 7, 2018.
This year, students and parents are worried as the results have not been published yet. The slow pace of restoration works in the aftermath of Cyclone Fani has added to their apprehensions.
