HSC exams in Feb; online application introduced

For the first time, the State Government would introduce online filling up of the applications form for the students appearing at matriculation examination.

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha would conduct the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination for this academic year in February 2016 for which online filling up of the forms would commence from October, informed School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra here on Friday.

A high-level meeting presided over by the Minister in the presence of BSE President Daksha Prasad Nanda and other senior officials of the department decided to introduce online system of filling up applications this year.“The students appearing for the examination will fill up online application forms in the first week of October. The students who are in the 9th standard now and will appear at annual board examination in 2017 would enrol themselves from the second week of this September,” the Minister said.
