The State Cabinet on Thursday approved the Housing for All’ scheme under the Odisha Housing Mission along with 18 other proposals.
The meeting presided over by CM Naveen Patnaik who approved the proposals, including a new fisheries policy, restructuring of the Junior Engineer cadre in the Water Resources Dept, amendment to the Biju Patnaik varsity of Technology Act and a new procurement policy of the MSME Dept.
The State Housing Mission aims to provide affordable housing to the poor and the economically backward sections in urban areas.
