The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Assembly, comprising chairman Bhupinder Singh and members MlAs Sanjay Das Burma, Prasad Harichandan, Prabhat Biswal, Pravin Bhanjdeo and Chakradhar Paik reviewed various development projects of the district.
MlAs Surendra Parmanik , Ananta Das, Debi Prasanna Chand, Sudarshan Jena, District Collector B Parmeswaran, ADM Akshay Mohanty, SP Amrita Dash, PD DRDA Anjan Manik and heads of several departments were present during the meeting.
“Apart from enquiring about the nonbanking financial companies from the deputy registrar of co-operative societies, we reviewed different development projects such as drainage, road, embankment, saline area, paddy procurement, PDS distribution, SSA and kharif loan, etc,” informed panel chief Singh.
