On occasion of Samadhi Prastistha Utsav on the 14th day of Swarnalata Pattnaik’s death, HMS vice-president and Biju Sramik Sammukhya president Rajendra Prasad Singh and vice-presidents Jugal Kishor Nayak and advocate Amruta Das visited her Balaramapur house and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to her family members.
The trade union leaders also held discussion with Swarnalata’s second son and noted local trade union leader Santosh Kumar Pattnaik regarding the labour problems of Paradip, especially his own unions.
They assured that under the Biju Sramik Kalyan scheme all labourers would be benefited at the earliest as the State Government is providing more and more benefits for labourers.
