HITTING THE BULL’S EYE

Published on:

Typical honey trappers are anytime way more respectful than extortion racketeers. They engage in the job for nobler causes by sacrificing so much. The lady of Kalahandi operating in Bhubaneswar jointly with a husband from Baleswar is only an evil character frantic to become rich with quickest money. Archana Nag, as named by her family, is actually a lady serpent with the vilest of intentions. She is a daylight robber who got to know fairly early in life that sex trade is lucrative provided the operator knows what to do and how to do it well. She knew too well that most wealthy men are game when sexuality is used as bait. God has designed the male human creatures to fall easy prey to sexual enticements unless one is spiritually indoctrinated to know it is sin to engage in such base adventures outside marriage or during unwed days. Archana Nag, knowing this too well, chose an unethical, insanely unscrupulous and spineless fool for husband willing to be her slave only to be able to see and smell big money earned across hours with hardly any effort. The rest of the filthy story is now ordinary news. The media has been crying hoarse that it is a case of honey trap, which is not exactly correct, though one can get away using this expression for cheating by enticing men into baits of sex for extortion purposes.

Honey trapping is actually an investigative practice involving the use of romantic or sexual relationships for political espionage. Rarely is it used for monetary purposes. It involves making contact with an individual who has critical information or resources required by a group seeking to entice the target into a false relationship which may or may not include actual physical involvement. The trapper’s primary objective is to gain information or influence over the targeted victim for larger cause, not individual gain.

Honey trapping was a technique of espionage. During the Cold War days, handsome young female agents, called ‘Mozhno girls’, were used by the KGB, the Russian secret service, to spy on foreign officials by using typical seduction tricks. Much later in 2009, the British MI5 distributed a 14-page document to hundreds of British banks, businesses and financial institutions titled ‘The Threat from Chinese Espionage’ that described a wide-ranging Chinese effort to blackmail Western business people over sexual relationships. The document explicitly warned that Chinese intelligence services were trying to cultivate ‘long-term relationships’ to ‘exploit vulnerabilities’ such as sexual relationships only to pressurise individuals to cooperate with them on their endeavours to extract classified information.

Though a few governments around the world are known to set up honey traps, the expression applies more commonly to Russia and China. The USA’s Central Intelligence Agency doesn't make clear whether its own female agents use sexuality to obtain information, but current and former intelligence officials say they resort to the technique only once in a while.

Eminent British author David John Moore Cornwell, popularly known by the pen name John le Carré, popularised the expression ‘Honey Trap’ in his 1974 espionage novel ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’. John Moore had worked for both the Security Service and the Secret Intelligence Service of the UK during the 1950s and 1960s. Hence, his deep knowledge about what he meant by honey trapping.  It is also known that some private investigators create honey pots by wives, husbands, and other partners to obtain evidence of illicit romantic affairs for gathering incriminating photos for use in blackmail. Honey trapping is also used in getting a new user permanently addicted to illegal drugs and also for smuggling the same because such engagements reap easy money harvest in the shortest time.

So, honey trapping is an investigative method that uses romantic relationships for interpersonal, political or monetary purposes with the ultimate objective of digging out sensitive information. In today’s complex cyber times, ‘Honey Trap’ has become child’s play on social media. Popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter are used to trap a variety of easy targets. Facebook has admitted that 270 million users of the platform are illegitimate, which are only bots or honey traps. Most honey trap accounts are of female profiles. Users first identify their targets, befriend them and during delicate moments lure them into spilling crucial information which can compromise not only their safety but the nation’s security too. They use blackmailing or, even worse, hacking to get the information forced out. The horrors that emerge intensify when the honey traps share malicious codes in the guise of web links or applications to hack into the target’s devices and systems compromising all available data by gaining complete access. This makes the honey traps even a bigger threat because they can control all data. The targets have no way of suspecting what is going on.

Numerous men across the world have been stung by honey traps which has put national security to severe stake because of very tightly-guarded sensitive data leaked out to enemy hands.

In recent times,Indian defence personnel too have beentarget of these evil traps. With incredible technological developments happening, it iseasy for enemies to access crucial intelligence required to devise strategies to harmnations beyond measure.

The latest case of Odisha woman Archana Nag trapping easy prey has been hitting headlines and is likely to continue occupying all media space until at least a couple of top politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats, if any, are exposed to the delight of masses.

It is also true that unscrupulously greedy women can turn horrifically evil no matter how criminal or mean to attain the desired objects by any means, be it money, power or glamour. Nondescript Archana is one such young woman frantic to make quick money by laying traps for crazily lustful men who would fall easy prey and buy back dignity by coughing out any amount of money. The movie producer being shown as a victim deserves to be punished. There is a great deal of talk of him being a vowed debauch. Other creatures appearing in photos may be absolutely innocent or may have escaped her trap in good time without having to cough out blackmail penalty.

But that the cheap sex racket mistress is being projected larger than life by the illiterate media is cause for woe because honey trappers are essentially sacrificing patriots. Archana Nag is just a street slut. The media better dig into the so-called victims to expose them well! The public has a right to know and the media has the duty to serve the truth on a platter.
