Addressing a youth conclave organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), State unit here on Friday, RSS national executive member Indresh Kumar said that if Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was present, the politics of India during the last 60 years would have been something very spectacular.

“Netaji is India’s first independent national leader. History of Netaji, Veer Surendra Sai and Swami Vivekananda has been knowingly kept far from the people,” rued Kumar, who called upon the need for efforts to be taken for bringing out the life history of such freedom fighters to the forefront within two years.

As chief guest, retired Army officer Col Himanshu Sekhar Mohapatra said that today’s youth should have a sense of patriotism in whatever they desire to do. Besides, three martyrs’ families were felicitated on the occasion.
