The State Government has permitted higher education institutions to open their laboratories for research scholars (PhD), MPhil students and postgraduate students in science and technology streams.
Higher Education Department Secretary Saswat Mishra on Friday wrote a letter in this regard to the Vice-Chancellors of all State Universities and principals of all Government and non-Government colleges.
“Higher Education institutions are permitted to open laboratories only for research scholars (PhD), MPhil students and postgraduate students in science and technology streams requiring laboratory/experimental work, by following appropriate Covid-19 precautions,” Mishra wrote in the letter and asked the institutions to take necessary action immediately in this regard.
