The Kendrapara Sadar police on Tuesday night nabbed a love couple, who had imposed self-confinement on them in a room at Balia Bazar. The police detained the duo suspecting that the boy might have confined the girl forcibly to keep physical relation.
However, on inquiry, the police got to know that the boy and girl were in love and had fled from homes to get married. later, their parents were informed on the issue. Kendrapara Sadar police station IIC Sarat Chandra Patra informed the detainee couple’s guardians that their wards were in love with each other for several months and had decided to tie knot. As both the youth and girl were majors, so the parents gave their nod on the marriage, stated IIC Patra. On Wednesday, the marriage was solemnized at the local Notary Court and later the marriage was held at the Baladevjew temple with the presence of police and family members.
