A three-day 2nd KIIT University National Moot Court Competition organised by the School of law of the university here concluded on Sunday.
The Hidayatullah National law University, Raipur and the Rajiv Gandhi National University of law, Patiala entered into the final round. A five-judge bench comprising former CJI Justice Altamas Kabir, Justice Pinaki Ghose of Supreme Court, former Judge of Calcutta High Court Narayan Chandra Sil, former Odisha High Court judge AS Naidu and Justice BP Das of Odisha HC presided over the final round.
The Hidayatullah National law University won the championship trophy with Rs 1 lakh cash prize while the Rajiv Gandhi National University of law got the first runners up trophy with Rs 50,000 and the NlU, Odisha became the second runners up with Rs 25,000.
