State Transport Minister Subrat Tarai on Monday flagged off the service of a regular Hi-tech bus for two routes here on Monday. The bus will run from Rourkela to Jeypur and Purushottampur.
Flagging of the bus services, Tarai said more buses will be plying soon in different routes of the State to facilitate communication facilities for the people. He also claimed to extend communication services to the remote areas in the State under the Biju Gaon Gadi Yojana, which was introduced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, recently.
Among others, Rourkela zonal DTM Jugala Mohapatra, BJD Rourkela president Ananda Mohanty, BJD Raghunathpali president SS Sundarray and BJD Mahila president Minati Debta were present on the occasion.
