With an aim to help children in distress, the State Government launched toll-free helpline number 1098 on Monday.
In a statement, the Government said, “This is an excellent initiative that we should all know and make others aware of.”
During the launch of the Childline helpline number, child activists also tied bands to Commissioner of Police (CP) Sudhansu Sarangi and Additional CP Sanjay Kumar Singh at the Police Commissionerate building here.
