Heavy rainfall is likely to lash several districts of the State from Thursday, said the Regional Office of the Indian Metrological Department here on Monday.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Angul, Khordha, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh and Subarnapur between July 18 and 20, said the IMD.
The weather office also issued thunderstorm warning for the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, and Sundargarh between July 16 and 17.
