With an aim to create awareness amongst parents regarding health and hygiene of children, immunisation, prevention of childhood diseases and family planning among railway employees, a healthy baby contest was organised on Monday by the Medical Department of East Coast Railway (ECoR) in association with the East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO). An audiovisual show on health issues in children was greatly appreciated as it was very educative in nature and the babies were evaluated by an expert team and prizes were given away by ECoRWWO president Shalini Vishnoi. On the occasion an interactive quiz show was also organised among parents.
