Information and Public Relations Secretary Manoranjan Panigrahi has promised that all working journalists would be provided health insurance facility soon after the ongoing identification process is over.
“Identification of working journalists in the State is in the last phase. They would come under health insurance cover soon after the process is over,” said Panigrahi
Panigrahi along with I&PR Director Sushil Kumar Das and Joint Director Niranjan Sethi visited the Press lounge and held discussion with reporters on various problems. Panigrahi too said that some relaxations would be made in the guidelines of the Journalists’ Welfare Fund.
Senior Journalists like Pradyumna Mohanty, Bibekananda Jena, Baishnab Jena, Ratikant Mohanty, Bijya Panda, Ramesh Chandra Swain, Parthsarathi Jena, Dhirendra Swain, Maheswar Ratha and Jitendra Patnaik were present.
