Headmaster Trinath Pradhan (50) of Tinko Sevashram School under Sasyakala Panchayat was arrested and court-forwarded on Wednesday for having unnatural sex with two minor boy students of the school under Bonei sub-division I Sundargarh district.
The shameful act of the headmaster came to notice when the boys refused to go to school out of the fear of sexual torture and their parents lodged FIRs at the lahunipada police station.
The school has 40 boys and 100 girls from Classes I to V who stay in the school hostel, where the headmaster also resides. The headmaster in an inebriated condition used to call the two Class III boys and sexually torture them in his room. Inspector-in-Charge of the police station RK Sahoo arrested the headmaster under Sections 377, 6 and 10 of IPC and Section 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act and forwarded him to court. Both the students and the headmaster were sent for medical examination.
