: The Raghunathpur police recovered a decomposed headless body from the Alaka reservoir near lahanga village, six km from here on Thursday.
The corpse was found floating in the Alaka waterbed during the wee hours on Thursday.
Seeing this, locals informed the police, who rushed to the spot and fished out the body.
One hand of the body was also chopped off. The cops sent the body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for postmortem.
Meanwhile, the police have detained three youths, Chandra Bhanu Senapati of lahanga village, Bipini Bhoi of Gopalpur and another one, suspecting their involvement in the incident.
