The Odisha High Court on Friday asked the State Advocate General to convene a meeting of all the line departments of Cuttack city to discuss and ensure that all drains of the city is repaired and desilted before the onset of monsoon.
Involving the CDA and civic body authorities along with city police, the Advocate General would discuss the issue and submit a report to the court by May 2, ordered a Division Bench of the HC adjudicating a PIl pertaining to the city issues.The High Court also asked the CBI, which is probing into the alleged encroachment of Government land in Bidanasi, to submit an interim report immediately.
