The Orissa High Court on Tuesday stayed the interim order of the Jagatsinghpur SDJM Court on MlA Chiranjib Biswal’s false affidavit case and directed the lower court to submit all documents relating to the case before it soon.
“The High Court stayed the interim order and directed the SDJM court to submit all documents submitted by MlA Chiranjib Biswal in connection with the case.
The HC will hear the case on October 30,” Biswal’s lawyer Dipanshu Das. Notably, BJD candidate Bishnu Das had filed a case against Biswal, who won the Jagatsinghpur MlA seat in 2014 elections, alleging that he submitted a false affidavit regarding assets during filing of nomination papers.
