After marathon arguments and counter-arguments, the hearing on the anticipatory bail application of Banki BJD MlA Pravat Tripathy came to an end in the Odisha High Court on Thursday.
But Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo reserved his verdict, increasing the anxiety of the beleaguered political leader, who is now being hounded by the CBI for his alleged involvement in the AT Group chit fund scam.
Nevertheless, the HC continued its protection of Tripathy from immediate arrest by the CBI as the interim protection given to him by the court on September 30 shall continue until further orders.
