The Orissa High Court (HC) on Monday granted conditional bail to Orissa Stevedores limited (OSl) managing director Mahimananda Mishra in two cases, one Cuttack Press Chhak bomb hurling and the other Paradip Tarinigada firing.
The court granted bail to Mishra against two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each.
On September 21, 2013, some miscreants had opened fire and hurled bombs at lawyer Abhay Bhatt near Press Chhak in Cuttack. In May 2016, miscreants had opened fire at two youths at Tarinigada in Paradip. The OSl chief was arrested and sent to the Choudwar jail in both the cases.
