Senior Congress leader and former lok Sabha member Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, who was served a week’s show-cause notice by the Pradesh Congress Disciplinary Committee on August 12 for his alleged anti-party activities, on Wednesday submitted his reply to the committee.
Reiterating his earlier contention that he has not indulged in any kind of anti-party and unconstitutional activities, Patnaik said, “I have submitted my reply to the disciplinary committee. I was neither involved in any unconstitutional activities earlier nor now. I strongly disapprove of the allegations levelled against me,” said Patnaik, adding that it is up to the disciplinary committee to decide future course of action.
