Despite the debacle the party suffered in the recently-concluded UlB polls in western Odisha, the BJP State unit has decided to fight the ensuing Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections in a determined manner under the leadership of senior party leader Biswa Bhusan Harichandan.
The decision was taken by party State president KV Singh Deo. “Harichandan will be in complete charge of the elections for the party. Starting from selecting candidates to chalking out strategies for the polls, the decision of the senior leader will be final,” said a Press release issued by the party on Thursday.
