Police arrested hardcore Maoist Dasru Kadraka(25), son of Majje Kadraka of Gorata villager under Rayagada district’s Muniguda police limits, on Wednesday.
Dasru was working as a militia commander of the CPI Maoist organisation, Niyamagiri and involved in a number of crimes, informed the Rayagada SP.
He was involved in road blocking at Rajulguda, murdering of an unknown person near Ambadani, planting IED near village Hata Muniguda, burning of a tractor and a JCB near village Dalia Kuji, killing of Shyama Kadraka of Nirgundi village, exchanging fire with police near Dangamati village.
These cases have been filed in Muniguda and Ambadola PSs, the SP said.
