The Commissionerate police (CP) have issued an externment order against a hardcore criminal for spreading terror in the Khandagiri and adjoining areas of the capital city. .
The accused was identified as Krishna Singh (23) of Udayagiri Vihar under the Khandagiri police station in the city.
According to police, the criminal has been banished from the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar Urban Police District(UPD) for one year.
As many as eight cases are pending against Singh at Khandagiri police station, two at Bharatpur police station and other police stations during 2014-22. He is involved in extortion, robbery and snatching cases.
Singh would face criminal proceedings and may be arrested on the basis of non-bailable warrants issued by a court if he commits any criminal activity in the city..
