In a shocking case, a woman who had levelled sexual harassment allegations against the Pattamundia police station Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) is missing along with her two daughters since last three days.
The matter came to the fore after the family members of the woman lodged a complaint that the woman and her daughters have been kidnapped by the concerned IIC Ramesh Chandramukhi.
Earlier in June, the woman had approached the Kendrapada District Superintendent of Police alleging that Chandramukhi had passed lewd remarks and assaulted her inside the police station on May 20 when she went to file a complaint over a family feud. Based on her complaint SP Dayanidhi Gochhayat had directed DSP SN Das to investigate into the case.
