Governor Ganeshi Lal on Monday visited Sudarsan Pattnaik’s sand art carved on the sea beach here with a message on voting awareness.
Speaking to media on the sand sculpture that displayed a message stating ‘Vote for Better India’ and ‘Your Vote, Your Voice’, the Governor said Pattnaik’s attempt to create this unique message through his sand art is unique in itself.
“The artist has always tried to create such awareness on everyone’s right to vote. And I feel no one should use the ‘None of the Above (NOTA)’ option while casting their votes. If a person does not like any of the candidates then he/she should nominate himself/herself for the elections,” the Governor observed.
