Vigilance sleuths have seized records relating to Deepak Gupta’s stay in the district headquarters hospital and the Keonjhar Jail. The Vigilance officials led by Pradip Pradhan visited the hospital and the jail to investigate into how accused Gupta managed to stay out of the jail in the name of health treatment and who were the doctors and officers connected with the affair.
They seized health records and treatment documents of Gupta. The matter came under inquiry after Gupta, the prime accused in the `1,800 crore mining scam in Uliburu mines, was discovered staying in a hotel room in Cuttack recently.
