A Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel died of suspected sunstroke here on Friday.
The deceased, identified as 44-year-old Purna Chandra Pradhan, fell unconscious while discharging his duty at then Bhubaneswar railway station. He was rushed to the Capital Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
As per sources, Pradhan was posted here as a constable.
Notably, mercury across Odisha has increased at several places after a brief spell due to norwester induced rains.
