The Odisha Sabuja Patrika Mahila Mahasangh (OSPMM) on Monday threatened to resort to intensify its agitation across the State in support of its 10-point charter of demands by blocking roads on Wednesday (August 21).
OSPMM president laxmi Devi said, “We have already submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to fulfil our demands, but the he is showing an apathetic attitude towards us.” The Green Card holder women’s demands include a monthly pension of Rs 1,000 to them, land patta of their houses, home loan at lower interest, s 40-per cent concession in train and bus and all facilities of BPl.
