The 10 Standing Assembly Committees, formed by Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro, would examine allocations made in the Budget for various departments and place their reports in the House on the first day of the second phase of the current session on July 12.
The first phase of the Budget Session was held from June 25 to July 2. The Annual Budget was presented in the House on June 28 and general discussions on it were held for two days.
During the second phase, which is scheduled to continue till August 8, discussions on Demands of Grants of various departments would be held, besides regular transactions, according to the schedule.
The Appropriation Bill for the 2019-20 fiscal would be passed in the House on July 31.
