The Vigilance Special Court here on Saturday sentenced former General Manager of the Odisha Mining Corporation Sadananda Mishra to four years of rigorous imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs4 lakh on him failing which he would undergo another year of RI.Vigilance officials had conducted raids on his residential house at Seikh Bazar, Cuttack and office at Daitari, Jajpur way back on October 28, 1994. The court found that Mishra amassed disproportionate assets worth Rs4.74 lakh.
