Secretary, Dhandamunda PACS under Khaprakhol Block, Balangir, Bansidhar Pradhan was arrested on Wednesday in a bribery case.
He was demanding and receiving Rs 8,000 from complainant Rajesh Sahoo of Budhabahal village, Khaprakhol, for recommending his loan application to Branch Manager, District Central Cooperative Bank,(DCCB) Lathor Branch, Balangir for sanction of crop loan.

Kodanda under Bhanjanagar tehsil, Ganjam Balaram Panigrahi was arrested for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 from complainant Mithuna Kumar Gouda of Rajkundu, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam in order to submit an inquiry report in Misc. Case No.2726/2018 in favour of the complainant Gouda.
He was trapped at his office by Vigilance sleuths on a complaint.
