Two bike-borne miscreants snatched a bag containing gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh from a woman at Purana Patana in Andhra Pradesh, one km from here, on Tuesday night. When the woman, wife of a jewellery shop owner, was returning home after closing their shop, the two culprits came on a bike and snatched away the bag before fleeing from the spot. The Purana Patana police have started an investigation into the case. The police suspect involvement of burglars from Odisha and Andhra Pradesh in the loot.
