In a gruesome incident, an Anganwadi Worker has allegedly killed her husband by engaging her lover and a goon in Sanaloba village in Gajapati district.
While the police have arrested the woman, Indramani Dandaraita and her lover Jagannath Shabar, the goon has absconded.
The alleged matter came to the fore on Friday after the body of the woman’s husband Dandasi Badaraita was found hanging from a cashew tree at a distant place under the Garabandha police station. Dandasi had been missing since June 27, and his mother had complained to the police that Indramani had a hand in Dandasi’s missing.
After identifying the body, victim’s mother and elder brother have alleged that Dandasi has been murdered.
According to some villagers, Jagannath had taken Dandasi in a car on June 27 from Garabandha. While Garabandha police have started investigation into the matter, it is suspected that illicit relationship might be the reason behind the killing.
Indramani and Dandasi had married about five year ego and they have two children now.
