Thousands of farmers under the banner of the Gajapati Krushaka Sangha and the Paralakhemundi Swabhiman Mancha would hold a Krushak Sammilani on March 28 here.
Sangha president Surjya Narayan Patnaik informed that a rally would be taken out from the district Collectorate after submitting a 15-point charter of demands addressed to the Chief Minister to the district Collector.
Mancha convenor Dr Tirupati Panigrahi said farmers of the district are exploited like anything. He said the focus would be on providing identity card to the farmers and hike in paddy MSP.
