In the backdrop of the Kharif crops damaged due to scanty rainfall, the State Government on Friday decided to encourage farmers to undertake dual crop cultivation during the Rabi season to compensate Kharif loss.
A State-level coordination committee meeting held under chairmanship of Chief Secretary GC Pati at the State Secretariat here decided that Government would provide supports to farmers in undertaking two crop cultivation during the Rabi season.
